Transfer Market: Rahim Alhassane on the verge of joining Serie A.

The Italian club is close to reaching an agreement with Real Oviedo for the 24-year-old Nigerien left-back. The deal is expected to be a loan with an obligation to buy for an estimated €3.5 million, although some Spanish media outlets report a figure closer to €4 million.

Alhassane traveled with Real Oviedo to Girona for the summer's first friendly match against Al-Qadsiah FC but was the only player in the squad not to play a single minute—a sign of an imminent departure. His move to Bologna could be officially confirmed in the coming hours.

Having joined from Recreativo de Huelva in the summer of 2024 for around €400,000, the Nigerien international has made 57 official appearances for Real Oviedo, recording one assist. His departure would allow the Spanish club to make a significant profit on their investment.
