Transfer market: Sevilla FC demands €15 million for Akor Adams

The Akor Adams saga could accelerate in the coming days. Sevilla FC and Venezia FC are set to begin negotiations next week over the Nigerian striker's transfer, according to reports from several Spanish media outlets.

The Andalusian club is demanding €15 million to let their 26-year-old center forward leave. Akor Adams’ representatives have already received permission to discuss contract terms with the Italian club, which could run until June 2030, pending an agreement between the two sides.

A season that reignited his career

Arriving in Seville in January 2025 from Montpellier HSC for around €5 million, Akor Adams had a tough start, hampered by several injuries that limited his playing time.

Last season, however, the Nigerian international rediscovered his top form. He netted 10 goals and provided 4 assists—performances that caught the eye of Venezia, recently promoted to Serie A.

The Venetian club is keen to bolster its attacking options ahead of its return to the Italian top flight. Talks between the two sides will now determine whether Venezia is ready to meet Sevilla’s financial demands to secure the services of Akor Adams.
