According to Sky Sport Italia, the Belgian international has successfully passed his medical. Both clubs are now finalizing the last administrative documents before the deal becomes official.

Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Napoli has given its final approval after accepting Fenerbahçe's offer, valued at just over €6 million.

Italian journalist Romano also notes that Romelu Lukaku has reached an agreement with the Turkish club on all terms of his contract. Barring any last-minute twists, his signing is now just a matter of hours as everyone awaits the official announcement.

After playing a key role in Napoli's Serie A title-winning campaign in 2024-2025, Lukaku endured a much tougher following season. Hampered by recurring injuries, the Belgian striker managed to feature in just five league matches during the next campaign.
