Transfer window: Galatasaray secures Lesley Ugochukwu on loan

Galatasaray has officially announced the arrival of Lesley Ugochukwu from Burnley. The 22-year-old midfielder joins the Turkish club on a one-year loan deal.

The agreement includes a paid loan of £3 million, with a conditional obligation to buy based on the number of appearances made by the player. Should the conditions be met, Galatasaray will pay Burnley £22.5 million for a permanent transfer in the summer of 2027.

Signed by Burnley ahead of the 2025-2026 season, Ugochukwu made 35 appearances for the Clarets, scoring three goals.

The Frenchman will earn a net salary of €2.65 million during the 2026-2027 season with the Turkish champions.
