Transfer window: Kassoum Ouattara set to join Beşiktaş, full agreement reached with Monaco
Beşiktaş have secured their first signing of the summer transfer window. The Istanbul club has announced that they have reached an agreement in principle with AS Monaco and French defender Kassoum Ouattara regarding his transfer.
According to several reliable sources, the deal is valued at 8 million euros, with an additional 2 million euros in potential bonuses. Both clubs have agreed on all terms of the transfer.
The 21-year-old left-back is expected in Istanbul this evening to undergo his medical and sign his contract with Beşiktaş. He is scheduled to arrive around 11:30 p.m. local time, after flying in from Nice.
Once medical examinations and administrative formalities are complete, Kassoum Ouattara is expected to join his new teammates as early as this weekend during Beşiktaş’s pre-season training camp in Slovakia.
With this signing, the Turkish club officially kicks off their transfer window by securing a promising young defender, recruited from AS Monaco after a season with the Monegasque side.
