Transfer window: Paul Onuachu at the center of a dispute between Trabzonspor and Al-Ahli

Paul Onuachu's future could be heading into legal territory. Turkish club Trabzonspor has filed a complaint with FIFA against Al-Ahli, accusing the Saudi side of approaching the Nigerian striker without their permission.

Trabzonspor has taken the matter to FIFA against Al-Ahli. Indeed, the Saudi club is said to have started talks with the Nigerian international while he is still under contract with the Turkish club for another two seasons. According to FIFA regulations, direct negotiations with a contracted player are only allowed during the final six months of their agreement.

After netting 17 goals and providing 4 assists in 25 matches last season, Onuachu has attracted significant interest. Al-Ahli is reportedly ready to offer him a salary four times higher than his current earnings.

Trabzonspor, however, is not opposed to a transfer, but is reportedly demanding between €10 and €15 million and is still waiting for their striker to officially declare his desire to leave.
