Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, a reference when it comes to transfer news, has provided fresh details regarding the discussions between Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig over the transfer of Ivorian winger Yan Diomandé during this summer transfer window.

Romano reveals RB Leipzig's demands

According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between PSG and RB Leipzig are ongoing as both clubs look for a deal that satisfies all parties.

The journalist wrote on his (X) account:

“Paris Saint-Germain are in discussions with RB Leipzig to find a solution for the transfer of Yan Diomandé.”

He also specified:

“Leipzig are asking for more than €100 million to let Diomandé leave this summer.

Another option would be to agree on a lower fee, provided the player stays in Germany on loan for one more season.”

Still according to Romano, the European champions want to sign the player this summer and integrate him into the squad immediately.

PSG and Diomandé already have an agreement

Meanwhile, French journalist Fabrice Hawkins claims Paris Saint-Germain have already reached an agreement with the Ivorian international.

"PSG have reached an agreement with Yann Diomandé as revealed by RMC Sport. Five-year contract.

Negotiations are about to start between Leipzig and PSG. The capital club wants to remain consistent regarding the potential transfer fee."

For the record, several sources mention that RB Leipzig are demanding around $140 million to let Yan Diomandé leave, a figure PSG does not seem willing to pay at this stage.
