Tunisia: Hervé Renard already at work for the commando mission

Barely appointed as head coach of the Tunisian national team, Hervé Renard led his first training session with the Carthage Eagles. The French tactician immediately took charge of the squad following the dismissal of Sabri Lamouchi.

This change comes at a delicate moment for Tunisia, who suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat against Sweden on the opening day of the competition. That setback hastened Lamouchi's departure and prompted the Tunisian Football Federation to act swiftly.

Already hard at work, Renard is expected on the bench for the next match against Japan, scheduled for June 21. His mission: to revive a struggling team and keep their hopes alive in the tournament.
