West Ham: the Hammers now open to El Hadji Malick Diouf departure

In the summer of 2025, West Ham allowed Slavia Prague to break the record for the biggest sale in the history of the Czech league. They did so by submitting a proposal of €22 million plus €3 million for the Senegalese left-back.

El Hadji Malick Diouf is not expected to stay long with the Hammers, especially after their relegation to the Championship. Indeed, several clubs are interested in the Senegalese player.

A starter against France at the 2026 World Cup, El Hadji Malick Diouf is firmly on Brentford's radar, with the club having already made an opening bid. But they are unlikely to be the only club moving in the coming days to land the 21-year-old Senegal international.
