Thirteen months after leaving Adanaspor, Bonke Innocent still hasn't found a new club. The former Nigerian Lorient midfielder remains a free agent.

No concrete plans on the horizon

A two-time Swedish champion and a regular in European competitions, Bonke Innocent left Malmö FF at the end of the 2021 season to join Lorient. After two and a half years in Ligue 1, the Nigerian continued his career in Turkey with Adanaspor. However, his adventure ended after just one season. Since then, the 30-year-old has been without a team.

According to Fotbolldirekt, there are currently no options on the table for the Nigerian international. The Swedish outlet reports having tried to contact the player to discuss his future, but received no response. His next move remains a mystery as most leagues have already resumed their preparations.
