Cameroon and Nigeria face off this Sunday at 6pm at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women's AFCON. The winner advances to the semi-finals and secures a spot at the 2027 World Cup.

On the Cameroonian side, Marie Gisèle Ngah Manga is in the starting eleven. The Lionesses' top scorer with 3 goals, including a brace against Mali, she will lead the attack. Unbeaten and topping Group D, Cameroon enters the clash brimming with confidence against a formidable opponent.

On the other side, Nigeria starts without Asisat Oshoala. The superstar begins on the bench. The Super Falcons will rely on Ajibade, Monday and Babajide to make the difference. Nigeria failed to impress in the group stage. The defending champions bounced back after an opening 2-3 defeat to Malawi, clinching two wins over Zambia (1-0) and Egypt (6-2).

Official lineups:

Cameroon: Michaely Mayi Kith - Toko Njoya - C. Ndzana - M. Nyadjou - C. Meyong - Ngock - Makana Mendoua G. - Naomie Eto - Ngah Manga

Nigeria: Alozie - Demehin - Ohale - Oladipo - Abiodun - Ucheibe - Echegini - Babajide - Ajibade - Monday

A physical and tactical battle awaits. Nigeria leads the head-to-head with 9 wins in the last 13 meetings, but Cameroon arrives with plenty of belief. Both teams have everything to play for: a spot in the semi-finals of the 2026 Women's AFCON and, above all, a ticket to the 2027 World Cup in Brazil.
