Last night, Argentina became the first team in World Cup history to score two goals in extra time on two separate occasions within the same tournament.

Indeed, Argentina had already pulled off this feat against Cape Verde in the Round of 32 (3-2 aet), before doing it again versus Switzerland in the quarterfinals (3-1 aet). The Argentinians had also come from behind against Egypt in the Round of 16, turning a 2-0 deficit around with three goals in the final fifteen minutes.

A spectacular run from Argentina, who will now face England in the semi-finals.
