The 2026 World Cup has unveiled a new sensation: Cape Verde's goalkeeper, Vozinha. At 40 years old, he shone during the match against Spain with several crucial saves, becoming one of the tournament's unexpected faces.

According to reports shared on the “Studio Mundial” show on YouTube, his profile has even attracted attention in Poland. Sławomir Peszko, now involved in the Wieczysta Kraków project, reportedly mentioned his name as a potential “marketing” target. The topic was discussed in the studio by Rafał Gikiewicz, who highlighted the player's media impact since the start of the World Cup. His popularity has exploded, skyrocketing from tens of thousands to over 14 million followers on Instagram.

Under contract with the Portuguese club Chaves until the end of the month, Vozinha is free to negotiate with other teams. There are no official offers at this stage, but the idea of such a transfer highlights the growing ambition of certain Polish clubs.
