In Argentina, it's Jude Bellingham's physical condition that's sparking debate, after images surfaced showing him grimacing and clutching his left shoulder following England's victory over Norway. This has reignited speculation about a possible injury just days ahead of the clash with La Albiceleste.

However, these concerns appear to be largely overblown. In reality, the Real Madrid midfielder has been dealing with recurring discomfort in that same shoulder for several months, having dislocated it in March 2025 and then undergone surgery last summer, leaving a visible scar but no connection to a new injury.

As it stands, there’s no indication that the England international—who scored a decisive brace against Norway—will miss out. On the contrary, Thomas Tuchel is counting on his star more than ever, and Bellingham is expected to start on Wednesday in Atlanta.
