German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has matched an unenviable World Cup record. By conceding at least one goal in his match against Paraguay, he has now gone 10 consecutive World Cup games without a clean sheet.

Manuel Neuer has joined a very exclusive club—but for a statistic he'd rather not own. The German goalkeeper has become just the second shot-stopper in World Cup history to concede in 10 consecutive finals matches, equaling a record that has stood for more than six decades.

The 2014 world champion is now only the second goalkeeper in history to reach this mark, joining Mexican legend Antonio Carbajal, who endured a similar run between the 1950 and 1962 tournaments. Remarkably, the last time Neuer kept a clean sheet at a World Cup was in the final victory over Argentina in 2014.

With this tenth straight game conceding at least one goal, Manuel Neuer equals the historic record held by the legendary Mexican keeper Antonio Carbajal, who set the mark between 1950 and 1962.

Trailing them are Sweden's Thomas Ravelli (9 matches), Belgium’s Jean-Marie Pfaff (8), Mexico’s Jorge Campos (8), and Hungary’s Gyula Grosics (8).
