2026 Ballon d'Or: “This is my best chance”, Harry Kane

Speaking to the press on Friday, Harry Kane maintained his status as the favourite to win the 2026 Ballon d'Or.

Well before tomorrow's clash between England and Spain, scheduled for Saturday as part of the first matchday of the Nations League, Harry Kane was once again asked about his chances of winning the 2026 Ballon d’Or. After impressing in Bayern Munich colours, the Three Lions striker reaffirmed his ambitions.

“This is my best chance for now. As for whether that will also be the case in the future, we’ll have to wait and see. I said unequivocally that last year was my best year, both personally and collectively. I would be extremely proud to win this title. I achieved a lot of great things last year that I’m proud of. Now, it depends on other people and their opinions. For now, I’m focused on helping this team win tomorrow night,” he said.
