2026 World Cup - Brazil: Carlo Ancelotti calls for calm regarding Endrick

Against Morocco, Brazil had to settle for a draw (1-1) in their opening match of the 2026 World Cup. Carlo Ancelotti even addressed the situation with Endrick.

Following the draw with Morocco, many voices are calling for Endrick to start as Brazil’s main striker. Supporters want the Real Madrid player to replace Igor Thiago. Asked about the matter, the Seleção manager urged everyone to remain calm.

"I see all the comments. It was the first match, there’s a lot of competition, and that’s completely normal. Endrick didn’t start, but there are 15 other players who didn’t start either. We need to be patient with Endrick. He’s a great player and Brazil will benefit from his talent for a long time. He will be important." explained the Italian coach.
