For their second match in the World Cup, DR Congo will face Colombia on Wednesday in Group K action.

On matchday one, the Leopards pulled off a major feat by holding Portugal, one of the tournament favorites, to a 1-1 draw.

In the past, the two-time African champions have faced South American sides twice. In 1974, they lost 3-0 to Brazil in a World Cup fixture. More recently, they were defeated 2-1 by Chile as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

DR Congo will be looking to finally break their South American hoodoo when they take on the Cafeteros.
