2026 World Cup: FIFA still has tickets to sell

Football's global governing body continues to sell seats just hours before the tournament kicks off.

FIFA has released its first ticket sales update for the 2026 World Cup. More than six million tickets have already been snapped up for the 104 matches scheduled across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Despite this huge demand, many matches have yet to reach full capacity. Several knockout stage games—including some quarter-finals and semi-finals—still have tickets available. The organization expects sales to keep rising as the tournament unfolds, especially with new seats reserved until now being released onto the market.
