2026 World Cup: Good news for Iran

The Iranian national team can finally breathe easy. As the squad gears up for the 2026 World Cup, the last administrative hurdles concerning visas for entry into Mexico have been cleared.

According to the Iranian federation, the final missing approvals have been granted, allowing the entire delegation to travel without any obstacles. The team is currently holding its training camp in Antalya before heading to Tijuana. Departure is scheduled for June 6 from Antalya, with arrival in Mexico the following day, where preparations will continue in the lead-up to the tournament.

This logistical breakthrough comes at a crucial moment, just days before the competition kicks off, allowing the team to focus entirely on their sporting ambitions.
