Lionel Messi found the net once again last night against Jordan. A goal that cements his place even further in World Cup history.

Messi did not start against Jordan (3-1) last night. La Pulga came on in the 60th minute and made an impact with a direct free-kick goal in the 80th. Jordanian goalkeeper Yazeed Abulaila was clearly beaten and couldn't stop the former Barça star from becoming the first player in history to score in seven consecutive World Cup matches.

With 19 goals, Messi further strengthens his status as the top scorer in the history of the competition.
