Bosnia and Herzegovina lead Qatar 2-1 after the first 45 minutes of their third group stage match at the World Cup.

The Balkans broke the deadlock in the 29th minute through Kerim Alajbegović, the RB Salzburg midfielder, before Sultan Hussain Al-Brake put the ball into his own net in the 34th minute.

Al Annabi managed to pull one back in the 42nd minute thanks to a strike from Hasan Al-Haydos

In the other match of the group, Switzerland are being held by Canada (0-0), a result that sees both teams advance together to the tournament’s second round.
