2026 World Cup: Senegal's opponent Iraq announces its squad

This Monday, Iraq unveiled its 26-man squad for the 2026 World Cup.

Drawn in Group I alongside France, Norway, and Senegal, the team led by Graham Arnold will be looking to spring a surprise in a highly competitive group. The Australian manager has opted to rely on an experienced core with several established regulars already well integrated into the national team.

Merchas Doski, Zidane Iqbal, and Ali Al Hamadi headline the main stars named for the tournament.
