On Saturday night into Sunday, Tunisia suffered another heavy defeat, falling to Japan (0-4) on the second matchday of this 2026 World Cup. Head coach Hervé Renard has already reacted to their elimination.

Appointed at the last minute, Hervé Renard was unable to help the Carthage Eagles in this 2026 World Cup. The French tactician even stressed the importance of the upcoming final group game against the Netherlands on Friday.

"Even though we've been eliminated, there's still a third match to play, and it's a World Cup match. We represent a nation, so it's important to prepare properly.
