2026/27 Confederation Cup: the clubs already qualified for the group stage
The draw for this season’s Confederation Cup group stage is taking shape, after 15 teams have already secured qualification for the next round.
Among the clubs that have booked their place in the next stage of the competition are Morocco’s Raja, who eliminated Nigeria’s El-Kanemi Warriors 4-2 on aggregate, as well as Al Ahli Tripoli, who won both of their matches against Ethiopia’s Welwalo Adigrat, 4-0 in the first leg and 4-1 in the return.
Angola’s Primeiro de Agosto and Zambia’s Red Arrows have also secured their places in the next round at the expense of Vita Club and South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs.
However, the identity of the final qualifier remains unknown, as Mauritania’s Douanes and Algeria’s CR Belouizdad still have to play the remainder of their postponed tie, which is scheduled to be completed next November.
The Egyptian capital will host the draw for the next phase next Wednesday, starting at 11 a.m. (11:00), Greenwich Mean Time.
