Barcelona’s players continue to speak out just hours before Sunday evening’s Clasico against Real Madrid. Gavi was clear!

Having been beaten by Paris Saint-Germain (4-2) last Tuesday in the Champions League, FC Barcelona want to bounce back immediately against Real Madrid tonight. Ahead of this Clasico, Gavi (22, 7 appearances in all competitions this season) showed his determination.

Gavi wants all three points

In an interview with RMC Sport and DAZN, the Spanish midfielder believes the stakes go far beyond the simple rivalry between the two giants of Spanish football.

🔥👀 Mbappé Ballon d'or ?

"This weekend’s Clasico is a matter of life or death because we can pick up points that will count for a lot in La Liga," the Barcelona player said. "I’m one of those players who particularly enjoy going to war in Clasicos. Because in the end, we are all Barcelonistas and we always want to beat Real Madrid. That’s why we are going to give everything from the opening whistle," he continued.

Tonight, Barça could move nine points clear of their rivals with a win.
