Real Madrid: Zinédine Zidane's advice to Eduardo Camavinga
After being in doubt during the first weeks of the new season, Eduardo Camavinga rediscovered a little smile after being called up by Zinédine Zidane to the France squad. The former Real Madrid coach even left him some advice.
After being left out by Didier Deschamps for the 2026 World Cup, Eduardo Camavinga returned to the France squad under Zinédine Zidane in September. Very comfortable during the latest international break, the Real Madrid midfielder now hopes to build on that.
Zizou's clear message for Camavinga
On Sunday, Téléfoot revealed a sequence in which Eduardo Camavinga shared an insight about his France manager, Zinédine Zidane.
"The coach? He told me what he expected from me and which position he would like me to play in. He gave me his confidence, and it's up to me to repay him. I am more determined than ever. We know very well what the coach represents for France. Being coached by him is something incredible. I didn't know him before; I had never met him, except once at a Formula 1 Grand Prix. (...) Tactically, it's different from Deschamps. Zidane brings his Spanish touch. He really likes having the ball and pressing. He likes intense football, la pelota, the ball!" the former Rennes player said to Téléfoot.
