It’s very important when you play with a high line, because I think that if you respect all of that, it’s much easier for the defensive line to defend. That’s what we have to do,” said the German.
Flick’s respect for Mourinho
On the other hand, Blaugrana coach Hans-Dieter Flick expressed his respect for his Merengue counterpart José Mourinho.
“I have enormous respect for Mourinho. When you manage teams at this level for so many years and with such success, it is proof of quality. He demonstrated that at every club he worked at. When I was Joachim Löw’s assistant with the national team, I met him once in Madrid. All the German players who worked with him have nothing but praise for him. He is a colleague who has enjoyed enormous success, and a great colleague,” praised the former Germany coach.
