FC Barcelona: Jules Koundé receives a serious message about his future

In recent days, FC Barcelona have begun to question Jules Koundé’s situation.

According to Sport, Deco had lunch with Jonathan Kebé, the French defender’s agent. The aim was to discuss Jules Koundé’s sporting situation and his progress this season. Having struggled in recent months and currently hampered by a physical issue, the France international is very doubtful for the Clasico against Real Madrid.

Koundé’s entourage denies that his future or a potential sale were discussed during the meeting, which was presented as a simple follow-up.

Barça open to a sale

Since then, FC Barcelona have not ruled out considering a significant offer for their defender. According to the Catalan newspaper, the Blaugrana board could be willing to listen if a sufficiently substantial financial proposal were to arrive.

This possibility does not mean that Barça actively want to part ways with their player. In the meantime, Koundé must first win back his place in a team where competition is intensifying.
