Ivorian international Yan Diomandé is ahead of his Brazilian Real Madrid teammate, Vinicius Junior, in several attacking metrics this season.

Diomandé more effective than Vinicius

According to Spanish daily newspaper “AS”, Diomandé is ahead of his teammate at the Merengue club in terms of finishing efficiency and successful dribbles.

Yan Diomandé has been more effective in front of goal than Vinicius Junior, having found the net three times from 13 shots, while the Brazilian has scored just one goal despite his 28 attempts, according to the statistics available for the current season.

In terms of dribbling, the Ivorian is also ahead, averaging 5.11 successful dribbles per 90 minutes, compared with 2.99 for the Brazilian Real Madrid star.

These figures put Diomandé ahead in both of these attacking metrics, both in terms of chance conversion and successful dribbles.

It is worth recalling that Real Madrid, managed by Portuguese coach José Mourinho, will travel to Barcelona on Sunday evening to face Barça in the Clasico in the current 27/26 La Liga season.
