ASPL 2000 have ended their CAF Confederation Cup campaign. The Mauritian club lost 0-3 to South Africa's Durban City FC on Sunday evening at the Côte d'Or Stadium. The Port Louis side had already lost the first leg 1-3 in South Africa.

Durban City confirm their superiority

Durban City FC took control of the match from the outset. The South African club imposed their rhythm against the team from the capital of Mauritius. The Port Louis side tried to pull off a shock in front of their home crowd. They could not find a way through against a superior team. Durban City FC won 3-0.

Port Louis' African adventure comes to an end

ASPL 2000 conceded an aggregate score of 6-1 over the two legs. The capital club exited the competition in the second preliminary round. Durban City FC secured their place in the final phase of the CAF Confederation Cup.
