AC Milan are reportedly close to an agreement with Christian Pulisic to extend his contract through 2031. According to Sky Sport Italia, the US international will also receive a salary increase that could place him among the highest-paid players in the Milan squad.

Pulisic chooses continuity with AC Milan

Christian Pulisic is expected to continue his adventure in Italy. Having joined AC Milan from Chelsea in the summer of 2023, the American winger has reportedly reached an agreement with the Rossoneri directors to sign a new contract running through 2031, according to information from Sky Sport Italia.

The Lombardy club already had an option allowing it to extend his current deal until 2028, but had been working for several months on a longer-term agreement. According to the same source, this new deal would also come with a salary increase, making Pulisic one of the team’s highest earners. Fabrizio Romano also says that the US international has accepted the extension.

Performances that reinforce his importance in Milan

Pulisic had already expressed his desire to remain with the Rossoneri at the beginning of October:

I really like Milan. The club gives me everything and provides me with a great deal of support. I am focused on playing, but we will discuss it, hopefully soon. I really enjoy being in Milan and I want to stay here.

Since joining from Chelsea in 2023, the American has made 141 official appearances for AC Milan, recording 44 goals and 28 assists. At international level, he also has 33 goals in 90 appearances for the United States. This reported extension through 2031 would reflect Milan’s desire to build around long-term stability.
