AC Milan want to extend Adrien Rabiot’s contract
AC Milan want Adrien Rabiot to stay for the long term. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri directors have opened talks with the French midfielder over a contract extension until 2030.
Milan want to plan ahead
Having arrived in Milan with extensive experience of European football, Rabiot quickly established himself as an important member of the midfield. At 31, the France international brings physical presence, technical control and the ability to make forward runs.
The Milan management would therefore like to extend his commitment by a further two years. Talks are reportedly already underway, although no final agreement has been announced. This desire to secure his future reflects the confidence placed in the player and the role he occupies in the club’s plans.
Statistics that underline his importance
Rabiot’s start to the season works in his favour. In six appearances in Serie A, the French midfielder has already scored three goals and provided two assists. These figures highlight his attacking contribution, in addition to his work in defensive phases and in building up play. His ability to make runs into the opposition box is an added asset for Milan.
By considering an extension until 2030, AC Milan would be seeking to preserve stability in midfield and rely on Rabiot’s experience in the coming seasons. The priority will now be to reach an agreement on the terms of the new contract.
