Burkina Faso recorded their first victory in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Étalons secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over the Central African Republic at the Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca. After the match, Amir Abdou offered an analysis that was far from satisfactory.

A laborious victory

Amir Abdou painted a bleak picture at the press conference. He criticized his team's performance, the pitch and the refereeing.

Argentina in their sights
