In the match on the second day of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, the Leopards lead Zimbabwe 2-0 at half-time thanks to Yoan Wissa.

Wissa in top form

The Newcastle striker opened the scoring in the 30th minute after an error by the opposing goalkeeper. Just before half-time, Samuel Moutoussamy doubled the lead from the same Wissa's assist, allowing the Congolese to go into the break with a two-goal advantage.

After their victory over Equatorial Guinea (2-0) on Thursday in Kinshasa, the Congolese face the Warriors this Monday, September 28, at the National Sports Stadium in Harare.
