Algeria - Bolivia: a behind-closed-doors match with no TV broadcast
Just days before their 2026 World Cup debut, Algeria is set to play its final warm-up match. However, this last dress rehearsal is expected to take place under rather unusual conditions.
The Algerian national team is gearing up for its final test ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Vladimir Petkovic's men will take on Bolivia this Wednesday in Kansas City in a special fixture, staged far from the cameras and the public eye.

However, supporters won't be able to follow this last tune-up. The match will be played behind closed doors and will not be televised or covered by the media. This decision was made as part of security measures implemented just days before the kickoff of the global tournament in the United States.
Still, this encounter is of utmost importance for the Algerian coaching staff. With only six days before their tournament opener, the national team will have a final opportunity to fine-tune their tactics and on-field chemistry.
As a reminder, Algeria will compete in Group D alongside Argentina, Austria, and Jordan. Les Fennecs will kick off their campaign against Argentina on June 17 in Kansas City (2:00 am Algerian time), before facing Jordan on June 22 in Houston, then Austria on June 27 in Dallas.
