Although Lionel Messi invited him a few days ago to his final match in an Argentina shirt, Paulo Dybala will remain in Italy.

According to recent reports, Paulo Dybala (32, 6 appearances in all competitions this season) and Nahuel Molina (28, 5 appearances in all competitions this season) will not be present for Lionel Messi's final match with Argentina, against Benin. It will take place on October 6. Indeed, AS Roma announced on Tuesday that it would not release the two players, who were 2022 world champions alongside the Argentina legend, notably because of the length of the journey to Buenos Aires and the schedule awaiting the Giallorossi.

"This decision was made for sporting and logistical reasons, given the length of the intercontinental journey and the proximity of the club's upcoming official matches," the Wolf explained. Gian Piero Gasperini's side will travel to Como on October 11 before hosting Real Madrid three days later in the Champions League.
