After scoring twice against Luka Modric's Croatia on Tuesday evening, Lamine Yamal celebrated in the style of French living legend Thierry Henry. He explained why.

Clearly, Lamine Yamal (19 years old, 35 caps and 10 goals) knows his classics. After opening the scoring in the 2nd minute during Spain's 4-1 victory over Croatia yesterday, the young FC Barcelona star approached the corner flag to celebrate. He then stood on it, as a certain Thierry Henry used to do.

"Why did I do this celebration? I really like Henry; he is a reference in football. This celebration is legendary and I wanted to do it," the Spanish prodigy replied in the mixed zone. Having played for FC Barcelona, Thierry Henry will no doubt appreciate the nod.
