With just a few hours to go before the clash at the Stadio Olimpico, both coaches have made their decisions and revealed their official lineups for this European fixture.

Now it is time for the action. AS Roma and Real Madrid meet at the Stadio Olimpico this Wednesday evening for the second matchday of the league phase of the Champions League. Kickoff for this European fixture is scheduled for 19:00 GMT.

After several hours of anticipation surrounding the two coaches’ selections, the official lineups are now known. José Mourinho will return to a stadium and a club he knows perfectly well, while Roma will look to take advantage of home support to claim their first win of this European campaign.

The official lineups for AS Roma - Real Madrid

AS Roma: Gollini - Mancini - Ndicka - Hermoso - Molina - De Roon - Kone - Wesley - Dybala - Soulé - Malen

Real Madrid: Courtois - Dumfries - Konate - Rudiger - Cucurella - Valverde - Tchouameni - Bellingham - Diomandé - Vinicius - Mbappé

The two teams head into this second matchday with different records. Real Madrid made a winning start to the competition by beating Inter Milan 2-1. The Madrid side therefore have the chance to secure a second consecutive victory and consolidate their strong start.
