Moroccan players have taken centre stage in the early stages of the Bundesliga campaign, with Eintracht Frankfurt forward Younes Ebnoutalib topping the scoring charts and Bayern Munich midfielder Ismael Saibari sharing the lead in assists after two matchweeks.

Bentaleb's explosive start in Frankfurt

Following a summer transfer window that saw several Atlas Lions make high-profile switches to Germany, including Saibari and Neil El Aynaoui, Ebnoutalib has delivered an immediate impact for Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 22 year old forward leads the Bundesliga with three goals, all scored in a dramatic 3-3 draw against Union Berlin on the opening weekend. His domestic form builds on an exceptional overall start to the season in Germany having registered six goal contributions across three matches in the league and the DFB-Pokal.
