The Ballon d'Or 2025 is heading to Évreux in just a few days. A special tribute awaits Ousmane Dembélé.

More than two weeks after Ousmane Dembélé claimed the 2025 Ballon d'Or, the celebrations are far from over. The PSG star will showcase his golden trophy in his hometown of Évreux (Eure). The sixth French Ballon d'Or winner in history will be welcomed "will be formally received at the city hall this Sunday at 3 p.m. to receive the city medal and present his Ballon d'Or," announced the city's chief of staff, Camille Narancitch, to AFP on Tuesday. Dembélé is then expected to head to the Mathieu-Bodmer stadium, where he first kicked off his football journey back in 2004.

This is a heartfelt way to thank his city and his first club, just as Dembélé did in his acceptance speech. "I would also like to thank my hometown, Évreux, where I grew up and kicked my very first football. I try to come back whenever I have free time, they’re always there for me," he said on September 22 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
