Ballon d'or: Achraf Hakimi takes a swipe at Ligue 1

In France, the rescheduling of the OM vs PSG classic has left a bitter taste. Achraf Hakimi is clearly not happy about it.

The decision to move the showdown between OM and PSG to this Monday evening, coinciding with the Ballon d'Or ceremony, has not gone down well with the Parisians. A number of players from the capital club were expected to attend the event at the Théâtre du Châtelet, but now, due to scheduling conflicts, they'll have to skip it for the sake of the Classic. While PSG has remained officially tight-lipped on the matter, it's safe to say Achraf Hakimi has subtly voiced his displeasure at the LFP's decision.

Indeed, on Instagram, the Moroccan international liked a post from a PSG fan account, which read: "A masterpiece of absurdity! Scheduling the Classic at the same time as the Ballon d'Or. The LFP has made a decision bordering on the ridiculous and exposing the gaping flaws in French football. An incomprehensible decision!"

As a reminder, the match will kick off this Monday at 8pm.
