Barcelona are reportedly interested in Bruno Fernandes with a potential transfer in mind. According to CaughtOffside, the Catalan club are closely monitoring the situation of the Manchester United attacking midfielder, whose contract expires in summer 2027, with an option to extend it for an additional season.

Bruno Fernandes set to leave Manchester United?

At 32, Bruno Fernandes remains one of Manchester United’s key players. Having arrived in January 2020, the Portugal international has gradually established himself as a central figure in the Red Devils’ attacking play. The player could consider leaving at the end of the season.

Several European clubs are reportedly keeping an eye on his future, notably Barcelona, AC Milan, Juventus and Atlético Madrid. Galatasaray are also reportedly a club to watch. Turkish outlet Fanatik has notably mentioned the possibility of a transfer as early as the winter transfer window.

Statistics that demonstrate his influence

Bruno Fernandes is coming off a particularly productive season in the Premier League. He scored nine goals and provided 21 assists in 35 league appearances. Since the start of the 2026-2027 season, the Portuguese midfielder has recorded four goals and one assist in nine appearances in all competitions.

His passing ability, vision and capacity to create chances could appeal to Barça, who regularly seek to strengthen their creativity in midfield. If Manchester United fail to retain him beyond his current contract, several suitors could try to take advantage of the opportunity.
