In Brazil’s first three matches of the 2026 World Cup, Vinicius Jr found the net in each game.

This impressive feat propels the Real Madrid star into the history books of Brazilian football. Vinicius Jr has become only the fifth player in Seleção history to achieve such a performance at a World Cup, following in the footsteps of legends Jairzinho (1970), Romario (1994), Ronaldo and Rivaldo (2002).

It’s a promising omen for Brazilian fans. In each of those previous four tournaments, the Seleção went on to lift the World Cup trophy.
