At just 20 years old, Ibrahim Maza is already emerging as one of the breakout stars of CAN 2025. Tipped as one of the players capable of igniting excitement, the Algerian attacking midfielder is delivering on expectations game after game, embodying the new wave that's energizing the Fennecs' campaign in Morocco.

Maza had already shown meteoric progress at club level. This momentum naturally carried over to the national team, where Vladimir Petkovic has shown growing trust in him throughout the group stage.

Starting in the last two matches, Maza responded with goals, an assist, and a constant influence on play—creating a dozen clear chances in the group stage alone. Now, as Algeria prepares to face DR Congo in the round of 16, he moves forward as one of the tournament’s must-watch players.
