Champions League: Haaland, Jackson... The top scorers' ranking after two matchdays
After scoring twice against Paris Saint-Germain, Erling Haaland has moved to the top of the Champions League scoring charts, level with Ermedin Demirović and Nicolò Tresoldi. Nicolas Jackson entered the top five thanks to his brace against Fenerbahçe.
Haaland cannot do everything alone against PSG
The Norwegian striker scored twice, in the 53rd and 75th minutes, but that was not enough to overturn a rampant Parisian side. Enzo Maresca’s men lost 4-2, suffering their first defeat after a run of eight wins in all competitions.

Already a two-goal scorer against Porto, Haaland, who also became City’s all-time leading scorer in the Champions League by surpassing Sergio Agüero, is leading the top scorers’ chart. Ermedin Demirović, who scored at Slovan Bratislava, also has four goals, as does Nicolò Tresoldi, who guided Club Brugge to an impressive victory over Inter Milan on Tuesday by scoring a hat-trick.

Nicolas Jackson shines again
Already on the scoresheet in Belgium on matchday one, Nicolas Jackson struck again, this time scoring twice at home against Fenerbahçe.
Aston Villa thrashed the Turkish club to move top of the Champions League standings, thanks in particular to the performance of their Senegalese striker, who has scored as many goals as Ousmane Dembélé, Ferran Torres, Harry Kane and Bradley Barcola.
