Club World Cup 2025: Referees appointed for the semi-finals
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has announced the list of referees appointed to officiate in the two semi-final matches of the 2025 Club World Cup, which will take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13.
Polish referee Szymon Marciniak will take charge of the clash between French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Spanish champions Real Madrid. The match is scheduled for next Wednesday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Marciniak will be assisted by his compatriots Tomasz Listkiewicz and Adam Kopczyk, with Algeria's Mostafa Ghorbal serving as fourth official and Morocco's Moucran Jouarari as the fifth official.
For the other semi-final, which will see Chelsea (England) face Fluminense (Brazil) on Tuesday evening, the main referee will be France's François Letexier, supported by fellow Frenchmen Sylvain Moigne and Mehdi Rahmouni. Salvadoran referee Iván Barton will act as fourth official, while David Moran will serve as reserve referee.
