Trabzonspor secured a 4-2 victory away to KuPS Kuopio on Thursday, October 15, 2026, on the second matchday of the Conference League phase. Paul Onuachu opened the scoring in the 3rd minute before going off injured, Mohamed Salah scored a goal and provided an assist, while Franculino Djú, who came on for the Nigerian, scored twice.

At 22, the Guinea-Bissau international made a strong impression in a European match in which he had not been expected to come on so early. His brace rewarded his efficiency in front of goal and allowed the Turkish club to maintain its lead until the final whistle.
