During an event at Trump Tower, the American president singled out the tactical decisions of the England manager, particularly the use of Harry Kane in defensive duties late in the match.

They made a mistake by putting Harry in defense. They took their best players and put them at the back when they should have been more offensive.

Responding to the remark, Tuchel answered with humor while defending his approach. The German coach explained that in a deep block, every player must contribute defensively, including the forwards. Despite the criticism, the English FA continues to place its trust in Tuchel, who is expected to remain in charge through Euro 2028.
