Nabil Djellit reveals Fenerbahçe's plan B: Ismaïla Sarr

According to French journalist Nabil Djellit, the Crystal Palace winger is now Fenerbahçe's top priority if negotiations for Rafael Leão break down. The Turkish club is eager to sign a top-class attacking reinforcement before the new season kicks off and is closely monitoring the Senegal international's situation.

The journalist also points out that Marcus Rashford is on the Yellow Canaries' shortlist. However, the Manchester United striker does not seem particularly keen on a move to the Süper Lig, which would further boost Ismaïla Sarr's chances if the pursuit of Rafael Leão comes to an end.

On his (X) account, Nabil Djellit wrote:

"Fenerbahce is seriously considering Ismaïla Sarr. If the deal with Leao falls through, the Senegalese will be targeted by the Turkish club, as will Marcus Rashford. However, the England international appears less enthusiastic about joining the Turkish league."

At this stage, no official negotiations have been initiated between Fenerbahçe and Crystal Palace. Nevertheless, Ismaïla Sarr's profile stands out as one of the Turkish club's main alternatives should the Rafael Leão deal not come to fruition.
